Hannah Weeks has been described as "an old soul in a young body" which is very reflective in her writing, vocals and performance. At a recent club performance in Seattle she was described as “breathtaking” and another described her as “a country music prodigy”. But don’t worry none of this is going to her head. Hannah has always known that her future would be filled with music and that God has truly blessed her with a beautiful gift. She has a quiet confidence that is unwavering to even the most difficult days or situations. Yet on stage her voice brings you to the edge of your seat and draws you in. Her vocals are much beyond her 15 years. Her performance is filled with emotion, energy, conviction and fun!
As a toddler at church people commented about how little Hannah loved music as she clapped and swayed to all those gospel songs. A few years later as she entered kindergarten her music teacher immediately asked Mom if she could keep Hannah after school once a week for a half hour music lesson. Those half hour music lessons continued through till her teacher retired when Hannah was in the fifth grade. Unbeknown to her parents, thus began Hannah on her road of embracing and loving the beautiful gift that God had given her.
Hannah’s love and passion for music has led her to the guitar, writing and continued development of her vocals. She writes and performs many of her own original songs. Along with her music teacher, Mrs. Alice Richards, numerous country artists as well as others have influenced her love of music. She grew up on gospel and country music but her music collection spans from classical to country to rock to rap and everything in between. Hannah loves that lyrics are the heart of country music and that the lyrics can take you anywhere. Her music flows out with passion and energy bringing the audience all the way into her world.
